Autumn Winter Warmers Launched

Today sees the launch of our new range of AW09 knitwear, with all of the new arrivals being named after some of the iconic music influences of the 90’s indie scene.

Amongst others, the collection includes the: the 'Roses' V-Neck Cardigan; the ‘Mondays’ G9 Leather Jacket; the ‘Gallagher’ Mock Wax Jacket; the ‘Morrissey’ G9 Melton Jacket; & the 'Marr' G9 Puppytooth Jacket.

Baracuta in Topman’s Oxford Street Flagship Store

On 17th September Topman open’s the top floor of its Oxford Street flagship London store to the public for the very first time. Taking its place in the line-up of great British brands is Baracuta. You can read more about the Topman launch on the GQ website.

The London Paper reviewed our G7 'James' Cycling Jacket today. In their own words, the "James jacket allows you to bike from the supermarket to the pub whilst still looking good!"

Not only will you look good, but it’s been designed to meet the demands of the ever-growing cycle fraternity, having been designed with longer arms to allow for handle bar reach, whilst the longer hem at the back keeps you dry in the rain. No Batman Impressions!

The James G7 Cycling Jacket is getting great exposure in men’s lifestyle magazines & sites this month, with features in Esquire, FHM & GQ!

In their review FHM praise the cycling jackets “toggles to pull the jacket tight, thus preventing any impromptu Batman impressions when zooming down the hill”. Any down-sides? “Lack of scope for Batman impressions!” – Just no pleasing some people!

New Griffin Collaboration

The Telegraph features our new Baracuta X Griffin Reversible G9 Jacket this weekend; the design continues our collaboration with the experimental menswear designer & genius that is Jeff Griffin.

In our latest collaboration the classic mod dogtooth jacket is given a twist with a reversible British Army desert DPM camouflage.

This is Not Steve McQueen...

“...It’s just a man in a mask wearing ten classic pieces of American sportswear, each as iconic and cool this spring as in the days when McQueen wore them.”

A section on Esquire.com today features a man in a Steve McQueen mask wearing the G9 – which “was the casual jacket of record for Sinatra, Presley, and, yes, McQueen” – as well as other iconic “American sportswear” brands. The G9 is actually Made In England, but we’ll let them off!
